  • Monitor and control key process parameters such as temperature, pH, and flow using control room systems and logic controllers.
  • Perform in-house testing for pH and ethanol using an ethanol meter, including proper calibration of the meter and strict adherence to SOPs.
  • Check product temperatures regularly and make necessary adjustments to maintain process stability and product quality.
  • Operate control room equipment to monitor process conditions, respond to alarms, and optimize production performance.

  • Follow quality control procedures to ensure products meet specifications and support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Comply with all safety guidelines, SOPs, and regulatory requirements while handling equipment, chemicals, and raw materials.
  • Assist with troubleshooting process issues and collaborate with team members to resolve problems promptly.
  • Support plant performance goals related to customer satisfaction, budget adherence, and facility cleanliness.
  • Participate in cross-training for both utility and fermentation operations to provide flexible coverage across the plant.
  • Be available to work overtime as needed to cover vacations, call-outs, and production demands.
  • Maintain accurate records of process data, test results, and any adjustments made during production.
Essential Skills
  • Associate’s degree required, preferably in a science discipline such as biology, chemistry, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience, preferably within a fast-paced, production-driven food environment.
  • Experience with control room operations and monitoring process equipment.

  • Comfort working in and out of the plant in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to safely climb and work at heights as needed for tank access and equipment checks.
  • Capability to hook up and disconnect hoses safely and correctly.
  • Willingness and physical ability to perform general labor tasks, including cleaning tanks and process areas.
  • Strong multitasking skills and the ability to manage multiple process activities simultaneously.
  • Resilience and composure, with the ability to stay focused and not become easily overwhelmed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule and to be available for overtime as needed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in food or fermentation manufacturing environments is preferred.
