CTG is seeking a Senior Cloud Desktop Engineer to support the global migration from legacy VDI to modern cloud desktop environments.
Location: Manhattan, NY (onsite 3 days/week)
Duration: 6-8 months
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and optimize cloud desktop solutions (Azure Virtual Desktop, Citrix, or similar).
Collaborate with global teams on migration, performance, and user experience.
Troubleshoot VDI/cloud desktop issues and ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
Contribute to documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
5+ years in IT infrastructure; 2+ years with cloud desktop/VDI technologies.
Strong networking, security, and identity management knowledge.
Experience with automation/scripting (PowerShell, Terraform) preferred.
Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty or Citrix certifications a plus.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
