Labcorp is seeking a Courier to join our team at 7800 West 110th Street Overland Park KS 66210
Work Schedule: 2nd shift Monday - Friday 2:30pm - 11:00pm additional 10% shift differential included
Job Responsibilities:
Load all necessary supplies needed for the daily pickups
Complete daily pick up schedule in a timely manner
Deliver all daily picks to your branch at the end of your shift
Handle all specimens and lab samples in safe and efficient manner
Safely operate company vehicle and obey all traffic laws
Utilize handheld electronic device to manage daily picks up
Work directly with dispatcher for additional pick-ups as needed
Evaluate traffic patterns alternative routes and weather conditions as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
Current or Prior Labcorp experience
2 or more years of professional courier or routebased delivery experience within a medical or laboratory company.
1 or more years of experience handling medical specimens or supporting hospital / laboratory operations
2 or more years of experience using handheld deliverymanagement devices or route optimization tools such as scanners GPSbased routing software or dispatch applications
Additional Job Standards:
Valid Drivers License and good driving record
Be 21 years of age or older
Punctual with strong time management skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Customer service experience
Ability to problem solve customer issues
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and in a team
Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Included with this position is a company vehicle to use for the addition for only $125 per month you will have the option of taking this vehicle home with you and using it for personal use.
