Assistant General Manager (Operations, Sales, Landscaping, Leadership) Job Overview

This role is a key supporting position focused on driving market productivity, efficiency, and growth. You will partner closely with the Market Leader to ensure high standards in safety, quality, productivity, employee engagement, and customer satisfaction within the tree care and landscaping industry. The position involves assisting in daily operations, supporting sales efforts, and coordinating administrative tasks to lead field and office teams toward shared business goals.

• An experienced professional with a background in tree care or landscaping.
• A proven leader or an individual with demonstrated team coaching abilities.
• Someone highly organized, comfortable with operational logistics and administrative tasks.
• An individual with high integrity, accountability, and a collaborative spirit.
• A candidate eager to pursue or already holding ISA Certification.

• Assist in daily operational management and resource coordination.
• Support sales efforts, including developing and tracking sales targets.
• Coordinate administrative tasks, paperwork, and reporting for the branch.
• Lead and coach field and office teams to achieve shared business goals.
• Ensure jobs stay on schedule and teams remain on task.
• Promote safe operation of vehicles and equipment.
• Drive customer satisfaction and process adherence.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Arboriculture, Forestry, Environmental Sciences, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in the tree care or landscaping industry.
• Prior leadership experience or demonstrated ability to coach and coordinate teams.
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency in managing operational logistics.
• Willingness to obtain or current ISA Certification.
• High integrity, accountability, and a collaborative mindset.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License.
• Authorization to lawfully work in the U.S.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
