Job Description

Who is Eventellect?

Eventellect partners with professional and collegiate sports teams, as well as promoters across live event entertainment, to grow total net ticket revenue through a unified single game strategy. We help partners fully access their revenue, data, and customers by managing ticket inventory in real time across multiple marketplaces and sales channels. Our proprietary technology and data-driven approach enable partners to price, distribute, and fulfill tickets more effectively while protecting long-term fan value and loyalty.

We are a growing company that is respected both in Houston (Houston Business Journal's Best Places to Work 2017, 2018, 2022) and nationally (INC 5000 list of fastest-growing companies 10 years in a row).

What are we looking for?

This role sits at the center of how tickets move from partners to fans across a network of online marketplaces and primary ticketing platforms. Every day, thousands of tickets and orders flow through this system, and our Operations team ensures everything executes accurately and reliably at scale.

You will work closely with internal teams and technology partners to ensure ticket inventory is accurate, listings are effectively distributed, and orders are fulfilled smoothly across multiple channels.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, curious, and motivated by making complex systems run well. They enjoy learning how operational workflows connect, spotting issues early, and helping improve processes over time. This role is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to learn how a modern multi-channel distribution and marketplace ecosystem operates.

This role is a strong fit for candidates interested in operations, ecommerce, or marketplace environments where execution, accuracy, and continuous improvement drive results.

What would you do?

Support the operational workflows that move ticket inventory from ingestion through multi-channel marketplace distribution and fulfillment.

Inventory & Distribution Operations

  • Manage ticket ingestion and inventory updates across partner teams and internal systems
  • Ensure listings are accurate and properly distributed across marketplaces and digital sales channels
  • Track and reconcile inventory movement across systems to ensure accuracy
  • Support key seasonal milestones such as schedule releases, on-sales, and delivery timing adjustments
  • Develop an understanding of how inventory flows across primary ticketing platforms and marketplaces

Marketplace Operations

  • Monitor marketplace activity and order flow to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment
  • Investigate order issues, cancellations, and marketplace inquiries, and support resolution workflows
  • Contribute to dispute resolution processes and documentation
  • Own game day operational coverage on a rotating basis, including occasional weekend support, morning on-call coverage, and extended hours through post-event close, ensuring real-time issue resolution during peak marketplace activity

Process Improvement & Systems

  • Identify patterns in operational issues and contribute to workflow improvements
  • Maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures
  • Contribute to system enhancements, automation efforts, and operational tooling
  • Support reporting and tracking of key performance metrics

Requirements

What is required to succeed?

  • Bachelor's degree in business, sports management, analytics, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
  • Comfort working with data, systems, and operational tools
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn how complex operational systems work
  • A proactive mindset with interest in improving processes over time

Helpful But Not Required

  • Experience in ticketing, ecommerce, marketplaces, or operations roles
  • Experience with spreadsheets, data, or operational software tools
  • Exposure to SQL, data analysis, BI/reporting tools

Benefits

What are the perks of working at Eventellect?

  • A competitive salary and bonus potential
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including 90% employee medical coverage, as well as dental and vision coverage, basic term life insurance and short-term disability coverage
  • 401K program including company match
  • A $1,000 annual ticket budget to spend on sports and other live events
