Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Electronics Technicians for a contract opportunity in Ventura, CA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

• Read and understand drawings and diagrams, can conduct physical and electronic tests on electronic assemblies and subassemblies, disassembly and reassembly of electronic assemblies and subassemblies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety standards.
• Be able to follow and execute procedures, standards, and sequences.
• Have attention to detail
• Have experience with reading and interpreting process specs and drawings.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

These responsibilities will include fabrication of electronic/electrical chassis' and mechanical rack fabrication using development engineering drawings. Candidate must be capable of working independently, discussing technical issues with customers and working with vendors.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Some climbing on ladders (3 - 5 feet) may be required as well as lifting up to 50 lbs.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

• An AA in Electrical or Electronics Engineering is highly preferred.

WORK HOURS:

• 5/40-1st Shift.-07:00am-03:30pm

ADDITIONAL:

• Candidate must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance.
