Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: OB/GYN Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Certification/Licensure to work as RN in North Carolina Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI/HWC/MAB, AWHONN, NRP, and PALS Must-Have: Women's Services experience Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor & Delivery. The facility operates a Labor & Delivery department with both delivery rooms and postpartum rooms. Patient ratios are managed with consideration for safe staffing practices. The Electronic Health Record system used is Cerner. The patient population primarily involves laboring women and newborns. Supervision will be provided by the Director of Women Services. Professional appearance is required, with scrubs being the standard attire. Casual wear is not permitted. Flexibility to float to other areas may be needed. Call requirements are on an as-needed basis.
