Summary Arapahoe Community College is seeking a detail-oriented, student-focused professional to serve as our
Transcript Evaluation & Student Curriculum Coordinator. This role evaluates incoming transcripts, determines course equivalencies in
alignment with internal and CDHE policies, and communicates with students regarding transfer credit and degree applicability. The
Coordinator also provides guidance on transferability, resolves student and faculty issues, and supports prior learning assessment and
degree audit systems.
This position additionally manages all student curriculum record processes, including major changes, data
updates, and troubleshooting. The Coordinator works within a dynamic team to maintain accurate articulation tables, improve workflow
processes, and ensure exceptional service for students navigating transcript evaluation and curriculum changes.
Key
Responsibilities - Process and evaluate official transcripts, determine course equivalencies, and communicate results to
students.
- Manage student major change processes and maintain accurate curriculum records.
- Research, troubleshoot, and
resolve complex student and faculty issues related to transcripts and curriculum.
- Assist students with registration and degree
requirement questions impacted by transfer credit or major changes.
- Support degree audit systems, training, and transfer evaluation
software in collaboration with the Registrar's Office.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree
OR an equivalent amount of experience and education will count towards the education requirement but will not count towards the experience requirements listed below.
- Higher education experience working in direct student contact
situations/roles
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of FERPA and other federal and state statutes
regarding college operations and student records
- Experience in Microsoft Excel
- Experience working in student information
systems
- Experience working with diverse populations and a demonstrated commitment to creating an inclusive work
environment
Preferred - Experience with Banner student information system
- Degree audit software
administration experience
- Transfer credit evaluation software experience
- Ability to thoroughly research and troubleshoot
complex issues and be solution-focused
- Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work while meeting multiple
deadlines
- Experience working at a community college

Additional Information Work Environment: Work is generally performed
in a standard in-person office environment. Typical work schedule is Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM. Evening and weekend work is occasionally
required. This position may be required to work at any ACC campus. Some local, regional, or national travel may be required.
