Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN - Title 32, Position Description Number PDD0849000 and is part of the KY WHFRTC, National Guard. NOTE: Indefinite employment is temporary and is expected to last more than one year but no more than five consecutive years. This appointment will not exceed 04-SEPT-2027 and will not be extended without further competition. Responsibilities As a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN - Title 32, GS-2005-7, you will perform routine and non-routine material coordination duties for special programs, maintenance, or production shops. Be responsible for local management of decentralized and decontrolled items which requires technical intervention to assure effective supply support and economy. Plan requirements, both quantitative and monetary, to satisfy customer needs. Authorize procurement and is responsible for funds management. Responsible for limited aspects of storage management. May develop and install local procedures and techniques to achieve and maintain smooth, effective, and coordination storage operations. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Military Grades: SPC (E4) - MSG (E8) RANK REQUIREMENT: Member must provide in writing with their application package that they are willing to accept a reduction in rank in order to be qualified for this position, if applicable. Failure to do so will result in disqualification. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: You must maintain membership in the Kentucky National Guard. You must be assigned to a compatible military position. Wear of the military uniform. Position may require a pre-employment physical. May be subject to furlough actions. May be required to successfully complete a trial period. Participation in direct deposit is mandatory. Must obtain and maintain a favorable adjudication of a T3 or equivalent investigation. Acceptance of a Federal position may terminate a military bonus. Acceptance of a Federal position will terminate Tricare Reserve Select (TRS) eligibility. This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position. Qualifications MINIMUM REQUIREMENT: Experience with supply actions, requiring ability to decide course of action to take, considering the circumstances or conditions encountered. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 12 months experience utilizing governing supply regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions applicable to supply management. Conducting extensive searches for required information. Reconstructing records for complex supply transactions. Providing supply operations for storage management in special program areas, maintenance, and/or production shops. Performing routine aspects of supply work where assignments include individual case problems related to one of the major areas of supply management, such as inventory management, excess property, storage management, etc. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Resume must have complete dates, work schedule, and/or hours worked per week for both civilian and military employment.
