Role: Scrum Master

Location: Pleasanton CA or Remote

Duration: 6 Months

Job Summary:

• We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master with strong expertise in Agile methodologies and hands-on experience with Jira.
• The ideal candidate will facilitate Agile ceremonies remove impediments and drive continuous improvement.
• Experience in the healthcare domain is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams ensuring adherence to Agile principles and Scrum framework
• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning Daily Stand-ups Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives
• Manage and optimize workflows using Jira (boards dashboards reports backlog grooming)
• Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a well-defined and prioritized backlog
• Identify and remove team impediments to ensure smooth sprint execution
• Track and report key Agile metrics such as velocity sprint progress and burndown charts
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team
• Ensure effective communication between stakeholders business teams and development teams
• Support Agile transformation and coach team members on Agile best practices

Required Skills:

• Strong experience as a Scrum Master in Agile/Scrum environments
• Hands-on expertise in Jira (workflow configuration dashboards reporting)
• Solid understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum Kanban)
• Excellent communication facilitation and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to handle multiple teams and priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in the healthcare domain (HIPAA claims EHR payer/provider systems etc.)
• Scrum Master certification (CSM PSM or equivalent)
• Experience with Agile scaling frameworks (SAFe LeSS etc.)
• Familiarity with tools like Confluence or other collaboration platforms
