Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Loan Officer to join our financial services team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for guiding clients through the loan process, assessing their financial needs, and providing expert advice on mortgage lending and other loan products. Your proactive approach will help clients achieve their financial goals while ensuring compliance with industry regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your sales skills, industry knowledge, and customer service expertise to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients. NMLS license is preferred, if not, our company offers a program to get you licensed.

Duties

• Evaluate loan applications by analyzing credit reports, income statements, and financial documents to determine borrower eligibility in accordance with FNMA (Fannie Mae) and other industry standards.
• Conduct thorough credit analysis and risk assessments for both residential and commercial lending scenarios, ensuring adherence to fair housing regulations and banking compliance standards.
• Manage the entire loan origination process from initial application through underwriting, processing, and final approval, utilizing mortgage servicing software and accounting tools.
• Collaborate with underwriters, processors and other team members to ensure smooth loan processing and timely closings.
• Provide exceptional customer service by guiding clients through complex loan options, answering inquiries promptly, and fostering long-term relationships.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Loan Officer or in a similar financial sales role within the banking or mortgage lending industry.
• Strong understanding of mortgage lending processes, underwriting procedures, and mortgage servicing operations.
• Excellent negotiation skills coupled with the ability to analyze credit reports and perform risk assessments effectively.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and building trust with clients.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
