Job Description

MEMCO Staffing is currently hiring experienced Metal Stud Framers fo r commercial construction projects. Candidates will be responsible for installing metal stud framing systems used to support drywall, ceilings, and interior wall structures according to project specifications and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Layout and install metal stud walls, tracks, and framing systems
• Measure, cut, and assemble metal studs and track
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
• Install door frames, headers, and backing for drywall
• Secure framing components using screws, anchors, or powder-actuated tools
• Ensure walls are plumb, level, and aligned according to specifications
• Work with drywall crews and other trades during wall assembly

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of metal stud framing experience
• Experience working on commercial construction projects
• Ability to read blueprints and perform layout
• Familiar with tools such as screw guns, snips, levels, chalk line, and laser levels
• Experience using Hilti or Ramset tools preferred
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work on ladders or scaffolding
• Must have reliable transportation
• OSHA 10 certification preferred

Additional Requirements:

• Must have own tools & reliable transportation to job sites.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime when required.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
