As a Locum MD in Gastroenterology, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating patients with gastrointestinal disorders. Your expertise will contribute to our commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services. You will be working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care. 

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations
• Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal disorders
• Perform endoscopic procedures as necessary
• Develop and implement patient management plans
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Provide patient education on gastrointestinal health and wellness
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the practice

Requirements

• MD degree from an accredited medical school
• Active medical license in the state of practice
• Experience in Gastroenterology or related field
• Strong diagnostic and treatment skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems

Schedule: 7:30a-4p

Daily Volume: 10-12 scopes

Cases: Scope backlog and call coverage

3 endo suites

Support Staff: APPs, anesthesiologists, CRNAs

EMR: Cerner

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
