Job Description

Job Title: Lab Technician - Materials Testing
Location : Chanhassen, MN
Contractor Work Model : Onsite – onsite
Schedule : M-F 8am-5pm
Compensation : $25.00 - $35.00/hr
Type : 6-month contract

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical/electrical/thermal properties testing of thermal interface materials and coating.
• Evaluate, collect, and record data.
• Participate in organizing and performing experiments using established procedures while summarizing and reporting results in a laboratory notebook/PPT.
• Use a computer to enter data/information including charts and tables for communication of project results/details.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of demonstrated laboratory experience.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office products—Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Ability to understand and follow experimental protocols for preservation of data.
• Capability to work safely with toxic chemicals following laboratory protocols.
• Ability to stand while working in the laboratory for most of the day.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (chemist, physicist, engineer).
