In July 2025, the State of California implemented the Personal Leave Program (PLP) 2025. This program temporarily reduces employees’ monthly base pay in exchange for paid leave credits. This classification is eligible for the following pay:
$7948 - $10488 Base Salary (paid every month)
$2701 - $3564 Extended Duty Week Compensation (paid every 4 weeks)
$130,489 – $172,188 Annual Compensation
In addition to the above pay items, employees are eligible for medical benefits (health, dental, vision) and may be eligible for other pay differentials.
