File Clerk

Summary:

Pfizer is seeking a skilled File Clerk to join its team in Pearl River, NY. This role supports the VACCINES Quality Records & Training group by ensuring compliance with Records Management policies and the Enterprise Records Retention schedule. Responsibilities include managing the archiving and retrieval of physical records in the VACCINES Records Room, maintaining inventory, and supporting organizational logistics. The File Clerk will also provide high-quality customer service and record assistance to the VACCINES scientific community, while adhering to departmental procedures and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with maintenance and tracking of all documents within the VACCINES Records Room
• Archive the VACCINES physical records stored in Pearl River, including quality checking, indexing, scanning, filing, and/or uploading documents
• Prepare VACCINES physical records for offsite shipment to PRSC
• Complete all required training in conformance with departmental requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• A minimum of 3-5+ years of clerical experience
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Windows, Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Professional
• Records and documentation management experience is desirable but not required
• Experience with documentation systems is desirable but not required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Location/Schedule:

• This is a fully onsite role in Pearl River, NY
• Monday - Friday; 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

The pay rate range provided is a reasonable estimate of the anticipated compensation range for this job at the time of posting. The actual pay rate will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, location and/or being pursued and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition, this role will be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements.
