POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Delivery Driver at Fortuna Bakery, you will be a vital part of ensuring that our delicious baked goods are transported efficiently and safely between our various locations. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong time management skills, and a commitment to supporting our internal operations. You will be responsible for accurately loading and delivering products, verifying order details, and maintaining a clean and organized delivery vehicle to support smooth daily operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Transport baked goods from the bakery to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
• Verify orders prior to departure to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, well-maintained delivery vehicle, equipped with necessary supplies (e.g., delivery bags, ice packs for perishable items).
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, noting any issues or special instructions.
• Load baked goods for delivery, ensuring products are handled with care.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong driving skills and a clean driving record, with the ability to operate a delivery vehicle safely.
• Effective time management skills to meet delivery schedules.
• Attention to detail when checking orders and handling baked goods.
• Physical ability to lift and carry boxes of baked goods.
• Adaptability to manage unexpected situations like traffic delays or order changes.
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Hourly Rate: $14.00 - $16.00
