The Office of Medicaid Policy and Planning (OMPP) is a division within the Family and Social Services Administration, which receives around 18 percent of the state's budget to ensure vital health care coverage to approximately 1 in 4 Hoosiers. Role Overview :
The Contract Compliance Officer plays a pivotal role in advancing the Office of Medicaid Policy and Planning’s (OMPP) managed care compliance vision. This role manages multiple state contracts that deliver health care services to low-income Hoosiers eligible for Indiana Medicaid through the Indiana Health Coverage Programs, including the Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP), Hoosier Healthwise (HHW), and Hoosier Care Connect (HCC). These programs operate under a risk-based managed care delivery system in partnership with Managed Care Entities (MCEs).
The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in public health, public administration, social work, or a related field, plus a minimum of three years of experience in managed care, healthcare, or nonprofit settings. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including SharePoint, is required; advanced Excel skills are highly preferred. The candidate will possess exceptional project management capabilities, organizational skills, and the ability to apply sound judgment and common sense in a fast-paced environment.
Salary Statement :
The salary for this position traditionally starts at $59,800.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.
