Job Description

Job Description: This is a fully remote role open to global candidates. We are seeking professional researchers to conduct in-depth studies on China-Africa diplomatic relations, economic and trade cooperation, investment dynamics and multi-field collaborative development, providing credible research support and practical consulting insights for institutional and business stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities: 1. Compose high-standard research papers and policy analysis reports focusing on China-Africa bilateral cooperation, covering diplomacy, cross-border investment, trade cooperation, technological exchanges and security collaboration. 2. Continuously track evolving dynamics and key emerging issues in China-Africa relations, including bilateral policy adjustments, project cooperation progress, regional cooperation mechanisms and market changes, and deliver forward-looking judgments. 3. Participate in professional academic exchanges and research project planning, put forward targeted optimization suggestions for China-Africa cooperative projects, and provide actionable policy and investment advisory solutions for clients. 4. Undertake additional China-Africa relations research and analytical tasks assigned by the team.

Qualifications: 1. Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in International Relations, Political Science, International Economics, African Studies, China Foreign Policy or other related disciplines; PhD holders and postdoctoral researchers are highly preferred. 2. Experience: At least 3 years of professional research experience in China-Africa relations, Sino-African economic and trade cooperation or related international affairs. Practical experience in think tanks, foreign-related institutions, international organizations or academic research centers is a significant plus. 3. Core Competencies: Possess a solid academic foundation in China-Africa bilateral relations, with a clear understanding of China’s African policy, African national development strategies and bilateral cooperation mechanisms. Equipped with outstanding bilingual Chinese-English writing and communication skills; applicants are required to submit personal research samples or published works. Capable of independent data sorting, analytical reasoning and complete research output. 4. Professionalism: Keen insight into China-Africa political and economic trends, sensitive to emerging cooperative risks and opportunities, with rigorous work logic and good teamwork awareness.

Preferred Qualifications: 1. Published academic papers, industry reports or research achievements focused on China-Africa cooperation in authoritative journals or professional platforms. 2. Rich experience in policy consulting, project demonstration or industry report drafting for China-Africa cooperative projects. 3. Interdisciplinary knowledge background in international trade, cross-border investment, regional security, international development and public policy.
